About This Spot

Stepping into Stir It Up Coffee Shop & Bakery feels like finding a gentle pause in the rhythm of St. Thomas. Nestled just off the bustling mall strip, this cozy café offers a haven where the air hums softly with the warm aroma of freshly brewed coffee and baked delights. It’s a space that welcomes a mix of locals and travelers alike, creating a quiet crossroads of stories and shared moments beneath the hum of air conditioning and the occasional clinking of cups.

The pace here is unhurried but purposeful, inviting patrons to settle in whether with a laptop, a book, or the easy company of a friend. With seating spread across two cozy areas, it feels intimate without being cramped, a little refuge from the island’s vibrant energy outside. The staff moves with the kind of steady, friendly attentiveness that makes each order feel crafted rather than routine — even when a busy morning nibbles at their pace.

The menu invites a subtle adventure in familiar comfort. From the tender, flaky pastries that hold just the right balance of sweetness, to rich, warmly spiced chai lattes and creamy iced coffees softened by unexpected hints like almond milk and white chocolate foam, each sip and bite speaks to a thoughtful approach to flavor and freshness. It’s the kind of place where cinnamon rolls stay gooey without overwhelming sweetness, and inventive items like spinach and feta pastries sit alongside comforting classics, making it easy to trust the recommendation of whatever catches your eye first.

There’s a quiet joy in witnessing how Stir It Up balances local rhythm with the casual charm of a well-loved neighborhood spot. Whether you’re lingering over a breakfast croissant or stopping in for an afternoon chilled vanilla latte, the mood stays gently steady — familiar, welcoming, and quietly soulful.

Amazing coffee and pastries!!!! Food tastes so fresh! Cinnamon role is gooey and not overly sweet. So soft and did jot even need to be warmed up. We got bacon, egg, cheese on a plain bagel. So tasty. Also had an iced coffee and iced vanilla latte. The staff got a little backed up and the cashier was still training which led to some delay, but we still got an amazing product. If you want good codfee and food pastries or breakfast sanwhich then this is your place!

The coffee here is DELICIOUS!!! Tons of seating, nice A.C., lots of options including non-dairy milk and plant-based ice cream! A must-visit if you’re a coffee lover and in the area

Loved my iced caramel latte and blueberry cream cheese croissant. The service was quick and friendly. Loved that there were locals AND tourist in here. Parking wasn’t too bad. There’s a huge parking lot close by. We’ve never struggled to find a place even if you have to walk a short distance. I’ll definitely be back to try more things soon!

Great little coffee shop with some good pastries and bacon, egg, cheese croissants. Several coffees and lattes, but be aware the chai arrive a while after opening but worth going later on in the morning to have a dirty chai. Plenty seating inside in two different areas. Try the feta and spinach pastry and the almond croissant, we loved them !

We spent 8 days in the USVI and if I could have made it to this place everyday I would have! My wife and I got the Iced Carmel Latte with white chocolate cold foam and it was delicious. The strawberry danish was great, but the Cinnamon roll! The best cinnamon roll I have ever had! Try it!

Nice little coffee shop at the cruise port. Simone made us the best frozen white chocolate and caramel frozen latte! Definitely check them out!

Close to cruise port walking distance -laid back coffee shop with good A/C no public beaches within walking distance but lots of shops around to explore near this coffee shop - lots of locals come in for their coffee fix too .
